Write
Open, write, save. The coordinate comes along on its own, and you can add a photo or a voice note. It works offline and with no account.

The notebook that remembers where you wrote it
With Asterisco the answer is always the same: right there. Every note stays pinned to the place you wrote it and shows up again when you walk past.
For iPhone and Android. Free for personal use.
Write and remember
Open, write, save. The coordinate comes along on its own, and you can add a photo or a voice note. It works offline and with no account.

Radar shows what you wrote nearby, with the distance to each note. Walking past that bakery again? The bakery note is right there, waiting.

Map and Radar
Every note becomes a point on the map, at the place it was written. Open Radar and the list reshuffles as you walk: whatever is closest comes first.

For people who write away from home

Photo, observation and position for every room, even with no connection. When the report is questioned, the place is in the note.
Read the case
Every door you knock on becomes a note with a place and a time, written with no connection. In a group, the administrator sees it all together.
Read the case
The restaurant to go back to, the loose step, the parking spot. Write down where you are and find it when you pass by again.

No coordinate goes to an analytics tool, because the app has none.
Location is only read while the app is open on your screen. In the background, only if you turn on a reminder yourself.
There are no public notes and no “people nearby”. What you write is yours.
It does. Writing, editing and moving notes needs no signal, and syncing happens when the connection returns. It is never a condition for writing.
Not to start. The whole app works with no account. An account is for syncing across your devices and for sharing folders with other people.
For personal use, yes: unlimited notes, folders, search, Radar, photo and voice (up to 3 GB), sharing and export. What you pay for is Grupo, for teams: $9.90 a month per group, up to 100 people.
No. Location is only read while the app is open on screen, and in the background only if you yourself switch on an arrival reminder. No coordinate goes to an analytics tool.
Your phone’s notes app does not keep the place. In Asterisco every note carries the coordinate of where it was written, shows on the map and comes back, by distance, when you walk past. It lives alongside the app you already use.
It works on both. The map is Apple’s on iPhone and Google’s on Android, and there is a portal in the browser to see and write your notes on a computer.
Free for personal use, on iPhone and Android.
